The PADI Underwater Naturalist course is a program that teaches you how aquatic environments, organisms, and divers interact.
This course develops your understanding of underwater ecology, allowing you to better appreciate the natural world around you in various environments such as a coral reef, kelp forest, sandy bottom, or fresh water. All these environments can be home to an amazing assortment of unique life.
Throughout this course you'll also develop your observation skills and open your eyes to the abundance of organisms and the intricate ecosystems of the aquatic realm. And, because you learn to move through the underwater world without significantly disturbing organisms, as a PADI Underwater Naturalist you see more, understand what you see, and enjoy diving more than ever.
